The National Council of Jewish Women has designated February 22 as Repro Shabbat, a day to recognize Jewish values relating to pregnancy, contraception, and abortion. Kabbalat Shabbat services will begin at 6 pm on Friday, February 28, followed by a festive Oneg Shabbat. During services, those celebrating special occasions will be called to the bimah to receive a special blessing and a small gift.
