“An Afternoon of Yiddish Song,” featuring Jordan Wax (Dairy Kitchen Needed)

This program is part #1 of a grant of $1,500.00 awarded to CBI by the National Yiddish Book Center for the purpose of promoting an appreciation of Yiddish culture to a general audience.
Accordian player and singer Jordan Wax of Santa Fe, accompanied by two additional musicians and Dance Leader Sarah Horowitz, will perform a medley of Yiddish songs for children in the Religious School, congregants, and members of the community.  This will be presented in the Social Hall of Congregation B’nai Israel.
Light refreshments, prepared by the program committee, will be served from the dairy kitchen.
