The Zoom Musical Shabbat Table and Havdallah is a virtual gathering at the end of Shabbat enjoy beautiful Jewish music and niggunim shared by the Heart of Shabbat Ensemble.  This is not a service, but rather a chance to sit back and listen to inspiring Jewish and Shabbat music culminating in the beautiful Havdallah ceremony starting at 8:30pm.

Ari Joshua, Guitar

Ari brings people together in homes and synagogues with inspiring instrumental accompaniment and the authentic experience of Jewish folk music.  Ari graduated with a degree in Jazz and Contemporary Music from The New School In New York City. He runs a music school in Seattle.

Hugh Sutton, Accordion

Hugh plays the piano and the accordion. He has been in numerous performances and productions, scored a film, composed music, collaborated with artists, made many recordings and has been an integral part of a great many fine musical products in the Pacific Northwest. He has played with the Heart of Shabbat Ensemble and Ari Joshua since 2018.

By Computer or Smart Phone: Make sure that you have a free version of Zoom on your computer or on your smart phone. At the time of the any of the listed events below, click on or go to the CBI website and click on the Live Streaming button.   Scroll down the page and click on the magenta button labeled “Join Zoom Session Now”.  This will take you to our gathering.
