Sparks Dinner and Presentation of “Join or Die” Documentary film

This will be a Havdalah event as part of the Shabbat Sparks program. It will begin late Saturday afternoon with lite bites, followed by a screening of the documentary film “Join or Die”. This will be followed by light dessert and discussion.
The event is part of the Shabbat Sparks series to share cultural content that has a Jewish connection. Robert Putnam, the author of the book “Bowling Alone”, has created a documentary film that makes the case that having a thriving American society requires us to join churches, synagogues, clubs, etc.
