Friday Night Prayers and Melodies Class A Program of the Congregation B’nai Israel Adult Education Committee Would you like to learn Friday evening service prayers and melodies? Talia Timmins is teaching an 8-session class on the prayers and melodies to lead and/or participate in a CBI Friday evening Shabbat service.Students will have the opportunity to lead an in-person service at CBI. (see below) The class will meet on Tuesday evenings from 5:00-6:00 pm and/or Sunday Mornings from 10:45-11:45 am on the following dates: Tuesday, December 12, 2023 5:00-6:00 pm Tuesday, December 19, 2023 5:00-6:00 pm Tuesday, January 9, 2024 5:00-6:00 pm Sunday, January 14, 2024 10:45-11:45 am Tuesday, January 16, 2024 5:00-6:00 pm Sunday, January 28, 2024 10:45-11:45 am Tuesday, February 6, 2024 5:00-6:00 pm The class will meet in-person in the small sanctuary with a Zoom link available for participants unable to attend in-person at CBI. Attendance at Friday night services is encouraged. In addition to class sessions, class participants will lead the Shabbat evening service on February 9, 2024.
